![]() ![]() Please don't lose this lane below masters. If you somehow lose this lane, build plated steelcaps and get sunderer. Honestly, if I didn't get shit on recently in a custom by Dakar 's rengar top, I wouldn't even put him as a minor for difficulty. This is a fairly easy lane if the enemy rengar isn't basically Scrubnoob or Dakar. I highly recommend taking ignite into this matchup over TP, and building vamp scepter + ruby crystal into BotRK. The only threat you face is if the rengar has a jungle duo, and constantly invades you. You outtrade him easily in the early->late game, provided you aren't idiotic and let him auto you over and over again from a bush. Stay in the bushes and deny him his leaps for free ferocity stacks. You cannot leash your jungler in this lane, because you have to run immediately to top lane and into the bushes to get a major advantage in this lane. JaxIsAHobo says “Depending on the rank(yet again), this can be an extremely easy or somewhat challenging matchup. Get Antiheal if his W healing is a problem.” If you ult him and it DOES NOT kill him, he will just heal back ALL of the damage if he has his w up. One last thing is to keep in mind that he is deceptively tanky. Phase Rush works but I prefer Conqueror to help me punch through his healing. Rengar’s tactic would be to utilize his W to cancel your slows and heal back up the damage you deal to him as a way of poking you down. What most GOOD Rengars will do is go for W max and essentially beat you out by attrition because a W+W leads to them taking zero damage and you taking more damage than him. There is no hope for a Rengar to win this lane. If he does a W+Empowered W, just E him back. Try to dodge his E root and be mindful of where the Rengar can jump in order to stop him from outplaying you. The second he goes in for a minion, Q-AA-W, pop ghost and then just mess him up. If the Rengar keeps playing aggressively and does not adjust his playstyle, he is free food. Once you hit level 3, the lane should be over. And even then, Rengar wins hard, especially if he has ignite. Level 1, it is best to give up unless you catch him outside a brush. If you don’t know the range, just hop into practice tool on Rengar. Just stand outside of his jump range from bushes. All you have to do is to make sure he does not cheese you level 1. Joe Schmoe who builds lethality every game is going to be free food compared to a Dekar but generally speaking, Darius is one of Rengar top’s biggest counters. STEELCAPS IF LOSING.Ī Rengar matchup depends on how good the Rengar is. ![]() DON’T TAKE STUPID FIGHTS AT LEVEL 1/2 WHEN HE HAS FEROCITY STACKS. Flash+Ignite are the preffered summoner spell choices. Doran's ring and Blade both work well into him, but if you're afraid of getting hard chunked Doran's Shield also works. Once you get the slow from that item and he jumps on you, you should be able to always stick to him and win the brawl, even with a q max. Warden's Mail rush into Bramble Vest works very well, or you can skip Warden's Mail and go for Iceborn Gauntlet. You can max q and just use it as a disengage whenever he jumps on you, or you can max w and try to see if you can fight him straight up. His double w will ensure he comes out on top of most trades so just try not to trade into it by just stunning him and walking away. Safe options are Bramble Vest and Plates Steelcaps. You will start beating him once you get some item components. Try to just e from range and get any cs you can without taking too much damage. ![]() He has a very strong level 1 and you have to respect it. With items Rengar means nothing to Camille, if you deny his snowball his game is basically over.”įederals1 says “Rengar is annoying for the first levels, especially level 1. Especially at 6, you can brute force him down as long as you hit your E by locking him in the slave cage, his ult won't save him. Once you have Sheen and Ignite / anti-heal, you can't lose unless he is very ahead. If you play Ignite or have anti-heal, you can try taking advantage on bushes once you are a bit ahead: a Rengar without bushes to play with is a goose without a beak. Don't miss your hookshot ever, don't make him dodge it for free with bushes. W him when he just used his empowered W so he can't sustain it back up. Be careful of Rengar's early power, especially with his insane W healing. Then you basically stand next to walls all laning phase, and if he ever jumps on you, you can E his jump and will ruin his ambitions. Go behind your caster minions, close to a wall, and if he ever jumps on you lvl 1 you can start Q, Q-AA-Q and you will always win it with shield up, as long as you don't overextend. Early levels you absolutely want to get away from bushes as he wins lvl 1 on extended trades. Gazibulle says “Skill matchup, favoured for him in laning phase, BUT if played very well you can deny him. ![]()
